“Lovely traditional melodies... all expertly played”
- Dirty Linen (US)

“This album sits so poignantly and memorably with its listeners largely due to the distinct and plaintive, haunting quality of both the nyckelharpa and the bagpipes... all analysis aside, this is simply a heartfelt, moving album.”
- CDBaby.com (US)

“Dråm has re-awakened ancient folk music with bagpipes and harp, to a very exciting result. A symbiosis of all that was and is which I can’t help but simply love!”
- Groove.se (Sweden)

“Created out of the very fundaments of Swedish folk music, this is a beautiful and hypnotic CD in a genre perhaps best described as “folk-ambient!”
- Nordische Musik.de (Germany)

“Finally - a Swedish folk music CD with great traditional worth, yet so contemporary and enthralling to the listener. Ask-Upmark and Rynefors are first-class musicians in complete control of their instruments.”
- Online Music Magazine (Germany)

Erik Ask-Upmark is one of very few harpists focusing on Scandinavian music on the Celtic harp. He is a Swedish "Riksspelman" (Musician of the Realm) who also plays the Baroque harp and many other early instruments with his groups Svanevit, Dråm and Falsobordone as well as occasionally with larger ensembles such as Concerto Copenhagen and Ensemble Mare Balticum, and tours all over the world. ... more
