Erik Ask-Upmark's first solo album is actually also the very first harp solo album ever featuring only Nordic music! Often hailed as the successor to Irish music on the international scene (sometimes referred to, tongue-in-cheek, as "emo-irish"), Nordic traditional music is quickly becoming ever more popular outside the countries of its origins.

Erik Ask-Upmark is one of very few harpists focusing on Scandinavian music on the Celtic harp. He is a Swedish "Riksspelman" (Musician of the Realm) who also plays the Baroque harp and many other early instruments with his groups Svanevit, Dråm and Falsobordone as well as occasionally with larger ensembles such as Concerto Copenhagen and Ensemble Mare Balticum, and tours all over the world. ... more
